With millions looking on via television from the United States and around the world, the University of Minnesota Marching Band performed with Justin Timberlake at halftime of the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 4.
Carter Mintey, a 2017 graduate of Stewartville High School, was among the 320 "Pride of Minnesota" band members who performed during the midway break in the game between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mintey, who plays trumpet, said he and his fellow band members first learned they would be performing with Timberlake at the band's end-of-the-year banquet late last November...
