Firefighters practice START at mock bus crash

A bus didn't actually crash in Stewartville last week, but if one ever does, the members of the Stewartville Fire Department want to know exactly what to do.
About 30 firefighters assisted a number of children "injured" in a mock bus crash at the parking lot west of the Stewartville Fire Station on Monday evening, July 31.
Lisa Jelinek, EMS director of the Stewartville Fire Department, said the mock crash gave firefighters the chance to practice START (Simple Triage and Rapid Treatment) for mass casualty...
