Brown-bag seminars fight child abuse

Allison Johnson is working to prevent child abuse in Olmsted County.
Johnson, the coordinator of the Crisis Nursery for Families First of Minnesota, visited Stewartville last week to watch Mayor Jimmie-John King sign a proclamation declaring April "Child Abuse Prevention Month" in Stewartville.
Johnson was joined by Hanna Kvittem, crisis nursery intern, Dawntaya Fullilove, a paraprofessional at Rosa Parks Charter High School in Rochester, along with Marleigh Van Dellen, Brandyn Wolf and Raven Smith, students at Rosa Parks School, who volunteer to fight child abuse, and members of Bikers Against Child Abuse, an organization of motorcycle riders that exists to create a safer environment for abused children...
