Battling talented opponents, miserable weather conditions and challenging courses, the Stewartville boys golf team rose to the occasion, winning the team championships at the 10-team Zumbrota-Mazeppa Invite on April 18 and the 10-team Stewartville Invitational on April 20.
The Tiger girls beat a hilly and challenging par 38 Ma Cal Grove golf course and the host Caledonia team by 24 strokes, 409-433 before struggling against the windy conditions, as well as teams like Woodbury and Rochester Century to place fourth in the eight-team field...
