Reece Eickhoff, seated, was joined by his Stewartville football coaches, standing, from left, Garrett Mueller, Aaron Meyer, Jon Severson and flanked by his parents Tammy and Dan when he signed a National Letter of Intent to play football for the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Eickhoff, who transfered from Kingsland, played his senior season in Stewartville. He was injured early on, but compiled some impressive statistics in the five games he played in a Tiger uniform. As a wide receiver, Eickhoff caught six passes for 136 yards and a touchdown and had three carries for eight yards. As a defensive back, he collected 11 solo tackles, 13 assists, one forced fumble, three passes broken up and one fumble recovery. "Reece will be a great addition to UW-La Crosse's secondary," said Tiger coach Aaron Meyer. "Just as our coaching staff did, (the UW-L) coaches will find that Reece brings a lot more to their team than what they anticipate."
