She later worked at Mayo Clinic Rochester in the laundry and retired in 2001.
Carroll was a past member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Stewartville, Christ Lutheran Church on Marion Road where he was an active member and currently a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Eyota. Carroll is well known for his greeting and positive attitude every week during Sunday service. He belonged to the Stewartville Jaycees and Rochester Morning Pride Lions and had a passion for the Lions Christmas tree lot in Rochester, a charity that he started 25 years ago. He enjoyed visiting with his many friends, followed all the Minnesota sports teams - pro and college, was an avid lawnmower and enjoyed going on trips with family up north fishing and time spent with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank family, friends and Seasons Hospice for all of their support and care.
