The 10 Stewartville dancers performed a disco-themed routine before the game, joining about 500 other dancers from 13 states. The girls were also part of the Outback Bowl halftime show.
The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers isn't the only team that performed well at the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Florida on New Year's Day, Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020. Before the Gophers defeated Auburn 31-24 that day, Stewartville's Just for Kix dancers were very impressive as well. The 10 local dancers performed a disco-themed routine before the game, joining about 500 other dancers from 13 states. They took to the field shortly after the Minnesota and Auburn marching bands finished their pregame performances. After the two participating team marching bands completed their halftime routines, the dancers put on a dazzling halftime show, performing along with about 1,200 marching band members from across the United States...
