Aaron Simmons and his Highway 14/32South Label Group have released a new album, Third St. SW, a tribute to Stewartville, Simmons’s hometown.

Aaron Simmons grew up in a home along Third Street Southwest in Stewartville.
Now an accomplished singer-songwriter, Simmons and his Highway 14/32South Label Group have released an album, Third St SW.
He says the new album is a tribute to his hometown.
'This album is about the things, experiences and the people who have formed me into who I am today," he said. "Nothing has been more influential to my life than everything I did and everyone I knew on that street."
He thanked Adam Whitehead, the album's lead promoter, and Whitehead's team, for their hard work to get the album's presale in front of as many eyes as possible. Thanks to Whitehead and his associates, Third St SW rose to No. 12 on the iTunes Country Preorder list, in the mix with many prominent Nashville recording artists.
"We are hoping for an even higher mark when the album drops on Aug. 28," Simmons said.
The album, recorded, mixed and mastered at Carpet Booth Studios in Rochester, has been in the works for about a year and a half. Simmons spoke of three of its songs, including...
