Twenty-three Stewartville students will take part in the annual Minnesota Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis March 10-12. | | Twenty-three Stewartville students are headed for state. They will take part in the annual Minnesota Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Leadership Conference March 10-12. Based on their performances at a virtual regional competition in January, the students are moving on to the state event, to be be held at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis. Katie Morlock, curriculum director and BPA advisor for the Stewartville School District, shared the news at the Stewartville School Board's regular meeting on Monday, Feb. 14. "We're looking forward to the kids being able to compete against other students across the state," she said. "We're excited." During the school year, about 1,800 Minnesota student BPA members take part in the organization's competitive events program, allowing them to compete in nearly 90 events focused on finance, business administration, management information systems, digital communication and design, and management, marketing and communication, Morlock said in an email...
