Four generations of a Stewartville and area family worked together to feed the hungry at Stewartville’s 18th Food for Kidz food-packaging event for the poor at the Stewartville Civic Center on Saturday, April 2. Four generations of one local family worked together to feed the world's hungry on Saturday, April 2. The volunteers at the Food for Kidz food-packaging event for the poor included great-grandmother Mary Lynch, grandmother Maureen Ellingson, mother Tanya Bredesen and children Olivia Bredesen, 10, a fourth grader at Bear Cave Intermediate School, and Carissa Bredesen, 6, a kindergartner at Bonner Elementary School. The family joined hundreds of other volunteer food packers who gathered at the Stewartville Civic Center for the 18th Food for Kidz, hosted by the Stewartville Kiwanis, Builders and Key clubs and Kiwanis clubs from Rochester, Spring Valley, Winona and Lake City...
