Traveling to England, the birthplace of scouting

Pondering a trip to a foreign country in 2019, Stewartville Boy Scout Troop 56 and its leaders decided to go to the very birthplace of scouting.
The group set its sights on the United Kingdom (including England and Wales), home of Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of scouting.
The initial plan was to travel in 2020, but the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic delayed the trip in both 2020 and 2021. During the Christmas holiday season, as 2021 turned into 2022, the travelers planned the adventure for June 2022.
Andrew Knight, a Stewartville scout leader and native of Great Britain, has scouting connections with his family in the UK, and still has a UK driver's license.
"(The trip was) a great opportunity for the scouts to experience another English-speaking culture with a history going back thousands of years," he said...
