Jason Owen, a 1996 graduate of Stewartville High School, is the new community oriented policing (COPS) deputy for the city of Stewartville. He said he’ll work to build a strong and positive relationship between law enforcement and his hometown community.
Stewartville's new community oriented policing (COPS) deputy is happy about the opportunity to work in the hometown close to his heart. Jason Owen, a 1996 graduate of Stewartville High School, won 10 state championships in track and field, including four consecutive individual titles in the 800-meter run. As a senior, he set a new Class A state meet record of 1:50.72 in the 800-meter run and also captured the 1,600-meter title...
