Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Stewartville's Tiger Ace Hardware store is still doing good business.
Sean Redmond, store owner, said after Gov. Walz issued a stay-at-home order last March, the store reduced its hours of service and took steps to keep its employees and customers safe.
"We blocked off parts of the store so customers could go to only certain places, and all our employees wore masks," Redmond said. "There were some challenges, because at the beginning, we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. We had to close on Sundays for awhile..."
