Stewartville firefighters used the departmentís new ladder truck to attack a fire at All American Co-op on Thursday morning, Sept. 17. A soybean roaster at the Co-op caught fire, sending a column of smoke into the air.

Fire damaged a soybean roaster at All American Co-op in Stewartville last week.
Capt. Steve Denny said the Stewartville Fire Department got the call on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 7:48 a.m. Eleven firefighters responded in two fire engines and the department's new ladder truck.
Arriving at the scene, firefighters found that the soybean roaster was on fire and sending a column of smoke into the air...
