Knowing the Center for Active Adults was facing a difficult financial situation due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Sharon McAtee prayed that God would keep the Center open.
Last week, McAtee's prayers were answered in a marvelous way when the city of Stewartville's Economic Development Authority (EDA) presented the Center a check for $6,000.
McAtee, the site coordinator for the Center, became emotional as she accepted the grant at Stewartville City Hall before the EDA's regular monthly meeting on Tuesday evening, Nov. 17...
