Although Stewartville Public School students are scheduled to continue distance learning through Jan. 15, children at the St. John's Wee Care Learning Center are still meeting face-to-face with their teachers.
Dee Radtke, Wee Care director, said in an email that because Wee Care is licensed as a child care center by the state of Minnesota, it does not have to follow the COVID-19 guidelines and requirements established for a public school district.
"At this time, we pray that the current strategies followed by child care centers like ours will continue to enable Wee Care to keep its students and staff healthy," she said...
