Lillyan Wear, a seventh grader from Montgomery, Minn., is the granddaughter of LaRayne Wandrey, who lives along First Street East. Lillyan and her grandmother worked together to arrange a large group of gnomes near the front lawn of Wandrey's house, a task that took them a few days to finish. "It has always just been a thing for us," Lillyan said. "We have fairies for it, too, and there are still more gnomes in our shed." Lillyan said she started appreciating gnomes after watching the movie Toy Story. "They're really cute," she said. "We buy them over the years. This is five years worth, plus more."
