Citing inflation, mayor says now's not the time for a school bond referendum

With the economy dramatically affected by inflation, now's not the time for the Stewartville School District to ask for $38.5 million to improve its schools, Mayor Jimmie-John King told a small gathering of residents at the Central Education last week.
