Kevin Schuessler of Bloomington has a special fondness for the old, classic cars. "It's all the memory associations," he said. "All of a sudden the memories get to flooding in, and in a sense you get to relive those moments, and old friendships get renewed in your mind." Schuessler has attended the Stewie Cruisers Car Show at Stewartville's Independence Day Summerfest celebration every year for as long as he can remember. It's his annual tradition to celebrate the Fourth of July with relatives in Stewartville. "We always come down here for the people and the car show," he said. "I love old cars." At this year's Stewie Cruisers Show, Schuessler and his grandson, E.J. Pogue, 2 1/2, strolled among the many cars on display at the Strikers Corner and Stewartville American Legion Post 164 parking lots. At one point, Schuessler lifted E.J. high enough to give the boy a closeup view of the inside of a 1968 Mustang Fastback GT. As the two continued to look around, Schuessler saw a 1965 Impala 283, the same make and model of the first car he drove as a high school student...
