Lost Highway, a country rock group, was the main attraction at the Stewartville Area Community Foundationís Bear Cave BBQ Bash on Saturday evening, Sept. 23. The group also performed at the Stewartville Area Chamber of Commerceís annual Summerfest celebration.
Lora Boyum had a good reason for attending the Bear Cave Backyard BBQ Bash on an unseasonably warm Saturday, Sept. 23. Seated at a table at Bear Cave Park with her husband, Scott, and her two daughters, Grace, 10, and Sophie, 8, Boyum explained why her family decided to be taste testers for the People's Choice Pulled Pork competition. "Because we like barbecue," she said. "My husband and I both do. I tried them all -- the pulled pork. It was good. It was fun. We all got to try some."
