Looking forward to more growth in north Stewartville, the Economic Development Authority has OK'd a study to determine the feasibility of extending a road in the Schumann Business Park. The EDA, at its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 19, unanimously agreed to give Short Elliott Hendrickson (SEH), the city of Stewartville's engineering firm, the go-ahead to complete the study at a cost not to exceed $23,000. The feasibility study will focus on the city of Stewartville's plans to extend Henry Road further south in the Schumann Business Park, said Barb Neubauer, city finance director. Extending the road will open up the southwest corner of the park for development, she said. For more on this story pick up your copy of the July 10 Stewartville STAR.
