By Rick Dahl STAR staff
Upstage Theatre, a nonprofit Stewartville theater company, opens for business with the stage production, The Couch, by Lynne Kaufman. It's a romantic comedy about one pivotal day in the life of psychoanalyst Carl Jung when his relationship with his mentor Sigmund Freud and also his marriage are at risk. Sean Lundberg and Nick Rudlong star as Freud and Jung while Melissa Adams-Goihl, Christina Stier and Anastasia Goihl portray the women in Jung's life. Director Olivia Cedotal wants to "bring the community back to community theater. It's a wonderful Mom and Dad date night! The play does touch upon the different philosophies, a little farcical comedy and also touches upon a little bit of humanity..."
