The city of Stewartville has called in Carbonite to back up its computer system. The City Council, at its regular meeting last week, discussed adding Carbonite to protect the city's computers from hackers. Karla Strain, finance director, in a memo to the Council, said the Carbonite system will provide two sets of backup per week, 60 to 90 days on the cloud, and a 180-day local backup.
