Dave Nystuen enjoyed his time at the Rochester International Event Center on Friday evening, March 25. Nystuen, the retired, longtime principal of Bonner Elementary School, and his wife, Lin, joined hundreds of other local and area residents who attended the third Toast and Taste, sponsored by the Stewartville Area Community Foundation (SACF). Nystuen said he attended to support the SACF's effort to raise funds for two projects, including: • the Stewartville VFW Veterans Memorial Park being built near the city's south entrance, and • the Stewartville Skate Park, to be built at the site of the two former tennis courts at Meadow Park...
