Although cooler-than normal weather has kept the grass brown for longer than expected this year, spring is still a season of brilliant color in southeastern Minnesota. Shortly, the rains and warm sunshine will transform the grass into a rich, bright green, and flowers will bloom in reds and yellows. Although some people may take the beauty of spring for granted, that's not likely for members of Lions Club International, who have worked many years to restore the gift of sight to millions around the world.
