Bryan Vrieze grew up on a dairy farm three miles east of Racine, where his dad used three Oliver 88 tractors to work 200 acres of corn, soybeans and alfalfa. Now, years later, Vrieze and his wife Dawn keep watch over a whole line of Oliver tractors at their Racine property. "(Oliver tractors are) what I grew up with, is the biggest thing," Vrieze said last week. "There's sentimental value." When Vrieze found out Oliver would be the featured brand of tractor at this year's 40th annual Root River Antique Historical Power Association Antique Engine & Tractor Show, he decided to bring 10 of his tractors to the event, held south of Racine and northwest of Spring Valley Thursday, Thursday, July 14 through Sunday, July 17...
