With the coming of December, city officials once again remind residents to move their parked vehicles off the streets whenever the city of Stewartville declares a snow emergency. Doing so will allow city public works employees such as Jake Burzinski, above, to plow the city’s streets more safely and efficiently. With December on the horizon, it's time for Stewartville's residents to get ready for snow. Cheryl Roeder, city clerk, has once again reminded residents to move their vehicles off the streets whenever the city of Stewartville declares a snow emergency. "The snow emergency usually will be called when snow is predicted so residents can plan to have their vehicles off the streets whenever the city of Stewartville declares a snow emergency. "No vehicles are allowed to be parked on the streets when an emergency has been called." When residents remove their vehicles from the streets, city crews are able to plow the roads more safety and effectively, Roeder said...
