The third annual Bridget Hale Sharing Project will be held at the Stewartville High School track on Saturday, April 13. The Stewartville City Council, at its regular meeting last week, unanimously approved an outdoor event application to allow the event to proceed. Mayor Jimmie-John King and councilpersons Craig Anderson, Brent Beyer, Jeremiah Oeltjen and Josh Arndt all approved the application. Dawn Miller, a health teacher at Stewartville Middle School who organizes the Sharing Project, spoke to the City Council last week, saying that the event has raised a total of about $20,000 in its first two years. The event is held in honor of Hale, a former reading teacher in Stewartville schools who died unexpectedly on Aug. 23, 2016...
