Beginning with the 2019-20 school year, students at Stewartville Middle School will be eligible to join a school 4-H club. The Stewartville School Board, at its regular business meeting on Tuesday, June 24, voted 6-0 to establish a 4-H chapter in the Stewartville School District. Todd Emanuel, School Board chairman, and members Dean Mikel, Lori Miller-Beach, Nichol O'Neill, Rebecca Wortman and Ryan Ravenhorst all approved bringing a 4-H into Stewartville's schools. Board member Will Welch was absent. Kathy Henderson, a sixth-grade teacher, plans to be the 4-H Club advisor for the sixth, seventh and eighth graders who decide to join the club...
