Traditionally, spring is a very busy time for Tim Malone.
Malone, the athletic and activities director for the Stewartville School District, oversees the baseball, softball, boys and girls track, boys and girls golf, and boys tennis programs each April, May and early June.
This year, however, the coronavirus (COVID-19), has closed Minnesota's schools and the Minnesota State High School League's (MSHSL) spring sports programs as well.
In his March report to the Stewartville School Board, Malone explained how he's dealing with the postponement and possible total cancellation of spring sports.
