Supporters of The Sandlot, a new concession stand to be built near the Stewartville High School baseball and softball complex, gathered to break ground for the project on Monday, Aug. 23. The Sandlot will include a concessions area, restrooms and storage space.

The people who made The Sandlot happen gathered to break ground for the project last week.
School district officials and leaders from businesses and organizations that donated to the project met where the new concession stand will be built near the Stewartville High School baseball and softball complex on Monday afternoon, Aug. 23.
