The Stewartville School District and its teachers union have reached an agreement on a new two-year contract. The School Board, at its regular meeting last week, approved the district's master agreement with Stewartville United Educators (SUE) for the 2021-22 and 2022-23 school years. The new agreement will provide Stewartville's teachers $519,276 (4.241 percent) more in salaries and benefits for 2021-22 and another $520,844 (4.080 percent) more in salaries and benefits for 2022-23, for a total $1,040,120 (8.321 percent) increase for the two years of the contract...
