Stewartville school officials are working to ensure the district's K-3 students are reading at or above grade level. The School Board, at its regular meeting on Monday, June 20, voted 6-0 to approve a local K-3 literacy plan for the Stewartville School District. Nichol O'Neill, School Board chair, and members Will Welch, Ryan Ravenhorst, Lori Miller-Beach, Todd Emanuel, and Scott Romens all approved the plan. Board member Rebecca Wortman was absent.
