Karissa Kime, a 2016 graduate of Stewartville High School, has been named to the American Rivers Conference (A-R-C) all-conference volleyball team. There were 15 players named to the 2018 all-conference team and Kime was one of two Luther College players to be so honored. This is the first time Kime has been named all-conference during her career. During the 2018 campaign, Kime played in every match and led the Norse in kills with 352 for an average of 3.06 per set. She was also credited with 81 digs and 57 total blocks. In A-R-C action, the junior attacker compiled an attack percentage of .215 in eight league games. Her 3.35 kills per set averaged ranked fifth in the conference statistical standings. Luther finished 5-3 in conference play and qualified for the six-team conference tournament for the fourth year in a row. The Norse defeated Loras College 3-0 in the quarterfinals before being eliminated by the top seed of the tournament Wartburg College in the semifinals by a final of 3-2. Kime is the daughter of Bradley and Pamela Kime of Stewartville.
