Joined by Tiger boys track coach Aaron Meyer (standing at left) and his parents Jessica and Scott Morgan, Taylor Morgan signed a National Letter of Intent to run track for Minnesota State University-Moorehead on Jan. 24. Morgan, a senior at SHS, is a two-time All-HVL sprinter (2017-18), a two-time True Team State meet place winner (2017-18) and a MSHSL All-State sprinter as a member of Stewartville's 2018 4x100m relay team that captured sixth place at last season's MSHSL Class A State Championships. "Taylor has worked hard to be a key member of our relays and become a top-tier track athlete," Meyer said of Morgan. "He is a workout warrior who has put in a lot of time to earn the right to run at college. With Taylor and a few of the other guys we have returning from last season, this should be a special year for our track team."
