Stewie's Hannah Tapp is Pan Am's 'best blocker'
|The U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team captured its third consecutive Pan American Cup title by sweeping the Dominican Republic 25-16, 25-21, 29-27 on July 14 in Trujillo, Peru. Middle hitter Hannah Tapp, a 2013 SHS grad, was chosen Best Blocker of the Pan Am Cup, recording a tournament-best 20 block points in five of the six matches at the 11-team tournament that took place July 6-14.|
"Hannah Tapp was one of our top performers from the first point to the last whistle," said Rob Browning, who served as head coach for the U.S. Women at the Pan Am Cup. "She was a rock for our team."
