The Stewartville Clay Target team shot 71.5 points better than league's top team in the fifth and final week of competition, but came up 668 points shy to first-place Roseau in the final standings of the eight-team Conference 14. Nate Kappers and Tor Lunaas led the Tigers, shooting an average of 23.4 out of 25 clay targets. There were 400 shooters in the eight-team league with Kappers (T-3rd), Lunaas (T-3rd) and Isaac Harreld (T-8th, 22.9) landing in the top 10 male shooters of Conference 14 while Elizabeth Root (T-6th, 19.8) and Gentry Sovers (8th, 19.5) finished in the top 10 female shooters. In all, 20 Tiger gunsmen earned an SHS letter by scoring a 19.0 average or higher out of a possible 25 in the five-week fall league.
