After wrapping up the regular season with a convincing 80-54 win over Kenyon-Wanamingo on Feb. 21, the Stewartville boys basketball team earned this season's signature win when it upset the state's No. 3-ranked, Class AA team from Lake City, 77-71 to capture the 2020 HVL Conference Championship on Feb. 22. No. 3 Stewartville kept rolling, as it notched its sixth consecutive win, beating No. 14 Chatfield 75-61 in the first round of the Section 1AA playoffs.
