At the conclusion of a five-week 2020 season, the Stewartville Tiger Clay Target Trap Shoot Team captured first place in Class 1A, Conference 18 of the Minnesota State High School Clay Target League. The Tigers distanced themselves from second-place Owatonna by 2,861.5 points in the seven-team conference. In the final week, Nagel shot 46 out of 50 clay targets to tie Olson as Stewie's top shooter. Thomas Root was the top shooter in Conference 18, winning the 5-Stand Sport competition. Stewie shooters earning a spot on the league's "25 Honor Roll" by hitting 25 of 25 clays in one round during weekly competion were: Hunter Olson, Michael Anderson and Remmington Bamlet in week-one competition; Grant Lee in week two; Hunter Olson in week four; along with Thomas Root and Mason Ristau in the fifth and final week of competion.
