After losing 7-0 to host St. James, the Tiger boys tennis team won its first match of the season last week, defeating Columbia Heights, 5-2 at the St. James Invitational on April 24. Getting back to league action, the Tigers lost 7-0 hosting Rochester Lourdes on April 27 before losing 5-2 hosting Lake City on April 29.
"The past couple of weeks the guys have worked hard to improve, focusing on fast feet and a fast racquet while playing aggressively," Tiger coach Kelly Manley explained. "It showed at the St. James Invite where they collected their first team win of the season..."
