Despite being outhit 8-7, the local nine made the most of its timely hitting by doubling JM's run production. Stewie scored in five of its six at-bats and put up crooked numbers when it scored three runs in the second while plating two in the fourth inning. The locals scored single runs in the first, third and fifth frames.
Braeden Erickson and Andy Teal led the locals from the batter's box, accounting for four of the team's seven hits. Erickson finished 2-for-2 at the plate with an RBI and two runs scored while Teal went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBI.
Titan Klunder worked six innings to pick up the win on the mound, allowing five hits and three runs, two of which were earned. He issued just three walks while recording an impressive 11 strikeouts.
Bo Boettcher provided the final inning of relief to secure the victory.
