After winning the conference championship in week seven, the Class AAAA, No. 4 Stewartville football team won its eighth straight game by scoring all 51 of its points in the first half to thrash Rochester John Marshall 51-7 on Senior Night at Schaefer Field on Oct. 20. With that win, the Tigers finished the regular season with a perfect 8-0 record in the Big Southeast Blue District and earned the No. 1 seed in the Section 1AAAA playoffs. As the top seed in a six-team section bracket, Stewie received a bye in the quarterfinal game and will host the winner of the Byron versus Red Wing contest at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30...
