After a first-round championship bracket loss and a consolation bracket quarterfinal win on the first day of play at the MSHSL Class AA State Tennis Tournament, Stewartville No. 1 singles player Chloe Regal lost 2-6, 0-6 to Ava Nelson of Elk River in the consolation semifinal match on Oct. 29. Regal, just a freshman, ended her 2021 season with a record of 19-5. Nelson went on to claim sixth place at the state tournament.
