Even after moving up a class and competing against larger-school teams, the Stewartville boys cross country team had its eye on going to state with a top-two finish at the 12-team MSHSL Section 1AA meet, while the young and rebuilding Tiger girls were hoping for a top-10 finish. The Stewie boys scored 103 points, placing fourth, while the Tiger girls scored 219 points to place ninth. Stewartville's Josh Langseth and Caleb Goff finished within Section 1AA's top-seven place winners and are headed to state.
