The Stewartville/Austin/Fillmore Central girls varsity bowling team captured second place at the Minnesota High School Girls State Bowling Tournament at Mermaid Lanes in Moundsview on March 5. The Tiger girls finished with a regular-season record of 9-3 in the Southeast Conference and recorded the statewide team-high average with 174.27 pins per game. In addition to the team's success, Rowley was recognized by earning first team All-Conference honors, first team All-State (#1 in state with a 90.83% fill percentage 109/120 spares or strikes in counted frames and #1 in state in strike percentage 72/120 strikes in counted frames). Gaynor earned second team All-Conference honors in the postseason.
