Visitation for Greg Robinson Aug. 16 at Griffin-Gray

Gregory "Greg" Robinson, 22, of rural Chatfield, died on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017, at his home.
Gregory Robert Robinson was born on Jan. 27, 1995, in Rochester to Keith and Dawn (Bergeson) Robinson. He grew up on the family farm in rural Chatfield and attended and graduated from Stewartville High School. Greg and Rachel Schowalter, his fiance and the love of his life, had recently moved to rural Chatfield with their beautiful daughter, Klara. Greg was employed at Power Data Systems in Rochester as a computer technician and was currently at Mayo Health Systems as a contractor.
At a young age, he was a Lego master, having the ability to create any vehicle he wished. He enjoyed golfing, playing baseball, football and wrestling at an early age. He taught himself to play piano, guitar and drums. He played with several bands in Minnesota and recorded some songs written by him, Rachel and a friend. Greg enjoyed family trips, road trips with friends, swimming and grilling and hanging out with family.
Greg was an avid paint baller who had amazingly mad skills on the field, where he was known as "Princess" due to his trademark Neon Pink Mask. He would travel far and wide, participating in his favorite sport. He also played a lot of online games, especially WOT (World of Tanks). He had an amazing internet family that loved him, and because of being part of TUF Clan, he and Rachel got to make some wonderful friends. Greg was an amazing partner to Rachel and a crazy and loving dad to Klara. He will always be remembered as a goofy, funny, nerdy, spontaneous, outspoken soul whom everyone loved.
Gregory is survived by his fiance, Rachel Schowalter and their daughter, Klara; his parents, Keith and Dawn Robinson of rural Chatfield; his sister, Kristin Robinson of Rochester; nieces and nephews, Eduardo, Liliana, Alejandro, Kano and Sawyer James and Owen Keith; his maternal grandparents, Sonny and Carol Bergeson of rural Racine; paternal grandparents, Robert and Beverly Robinson of Rochester and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Holly Robinson-Wnuk, his uncle, Greg Robinson and his maternal and paternal great-grandparents.
Now that Greg is at rest, hold him close in your mind and your spirit. Remember the meaning of the tragedy.
A time of visitation will take place for family and friends on Wednesday, Aug. 16, from 5-7 p.m. at Griffin-Gray Funeral Home in Stewartville. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Greg's family requests memorials to their family in lieu of flowers.
Arrangements are with Griffin-Gray Funeral Home in Stewartville.
