Memorial gathering for Bob Kuisle Nov. 3 at St. Bridget's

Robert (Bob) John Kuisle, age 71, died peacefully on Tuesday, Sept.18, 2018, surrounded by his loving family at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz.
Bob was born in Rochester on May 21, 1947. He graduated from Stewartville High School in 1965 and from Mankato State University with a BA degree in business in 1969. He was a member of Lambda Delta Zeta fraternity.
Bob married Jeanne Rooney on April 24, 1976 in Edina. They have two daughters, Heather and Jessica, and are blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, Payton, Riley, Harper and Lily. Bob loved his wife and daughters with all his heart. They were the light of his life. He never missed any of the girls' sports events or activities and he enjoyed being Jessica's assistant soccer coach for six years. He also enjoyed many traveling adventures with Heather. The most precious loves of his life were his grandson and granddaughters. He spent every moment that he could with them. He loved playing with them, going to different events with them, feeding them and snuggling with them and of course always making them laugh.
Bob worked for the insurance industry until 1980. Then he, Jeanne, and baby Heather moved to Arizona, where he worked as a personal property tax consultant for Marvin F. Poer, and then senior regional manager for Ernst & Young before retiring in 2002.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jeanne; daughters, Heather Davis (Scott) and Jessica Campbell (Brian); grandchildren, twins, Payton and Riley Campbell and Harper and Lily Davis; siblings, Chuck Kuisle, Paul Kuisle (Norma), Mike Kuisle (Vicki), Kathryn Kuisle, Jane Trok (Mike), Marge Urlick, Cecelia Roesch (Ben), Diane Ashton (Joe) and Carol Franta (Joe); brothers-in-law, Gary Rooney, Dick Rooney (Bev), Darrell Rooney, Paul Rooney (Annette) and Phillip Rooney (Theresa) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
He is preceded in death by parents, John and Irene Kuisle, nephews, Scott Kuisle and Bennett Roesch.
He enjoyed fishing, traveling, pheasant hunting, collecting hats, teasing and most importantly spending time with family and friends.
Bob was a kid at heart, so all kids were naturally attracted to him. He was quick-witted and loved to make people laugh. He could lighten any situation and brighten even the worst of days. Bob was so unique and special, that once you met him, you would NEVER forget him.
There was a celebration of life at The Watershed in Tempe Ariz. on Sept. 26.
There will be a memorial gathering for Bob on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. at St. Bridget's Catholic Church Social Hall in Simpson, Minn. Everyone is invited.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Heart Association.
Meldrum Mortuary in Arizona assisted the family.
