Visitation and prayer service May 2 for Paul Zimprich
Paul Arnold Zimprich, 74, of Rochester, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019.
Paul was born Nov. 28, 1944 to Bernard and Dorothy (Hebl) Zimprich in Austin.
Paul worked at Mayo Clinic the majority of his working career. He started in general X-Ray, then CT Scanning, MRI (NMRI), and last he taught at the Radiology School at Mayo Clinic.
Paul loved adventure and traveling. Throughout his life, he had many passions, including hunting, fishing, skiing, biking, sailing, and motorcycle riding. He always approached these passions with all his energy. As for travel, he toured the majority of the United States, Canada and Mexico, and several trips up the Alaskan Highway. Paul would always be willing to help those in need, whether they were family or not.
Paul is survived by his wife, Pamela Susan Farmer; son, John Paul (Kim) Zimprich; grandchildren, Madeline Zimprich and William Zimprich; his older sister, Carol Cuffel and older brother, Robert Zimprich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Sharon Anne (Morrison) Zimprich and twin sister, Pauline Agan.
A visitation and prayer service was held May 2 in the River Park Chapel at Macken Funeral Home. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery.
