Memorial service for Audrey Gentz-Wolf Nov. 13 in Albert Lea
The memorial service for Audrey Gentz-Wolf will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home, 1415 N Hwy 13 in Albert Lea. Pastor Kent Otterman will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Audrey A Gentz-Wolf, age 81 of Stewartville, formerly of Albert Lea, passed away on Nov. 7, 2019.
Audrey was born on Sept. 11, 1938 in Albert Lea to Clifford and Velma (Wright) Nordland. She spent her childhood in Albert Lea.
On Sept. 9, 1955 she married Jerome Wuerflein. Together they had five children and later divorced. Audrey relocated to Pella, Iowa, where she went to work for Pella Windows. In 1979 she moved to Faribault, where she worked for McQuay Industry until her retirement in 2000. She then moved to Stewartville.
Audrey was a member of the Sheet Metals Union and the Eagles Lodge in Faribault. She was an avid reader; she was skilled at embroidery and cross stitching. She enjoyed fishing and boating. Most of all Audrey loved to spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Clifford (Cindy) Wuerflein, Dawn (Mike) Kaderabek, Jerome (Gwen) Wuerflein and Tammy Wuerflein; daughter-in-law, Janet Wuerflein; grandchildren, Shannon (Matt) Wilson, Ryan (Sadie) Wuerflein, Brett (Angie) Wuerflein, Brooke (Travis) McKinny, Adam Kaderabek, Melissa (Gary) Quam, Aaron Wuerflein, Jacob (fiance Mariah Dodd) Wuerflein and Lucas Wuerflein; great- grandchildren, Noah, Evan, Hadleigh, Maximus, Olivia, Ben, Jackson, Kylie, Tucker, Tayler, Zella, Garrison and Clara; brother, Thayne (Becky) Nordland, and many nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Geri Hansen and Connie (Roger) Deml and son, Milford Wuerflein.
Memorials preferred to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
