SSGT Travis Wannarka has served five of his eight year assignment with the USAF. He will be leaving for a 24 month assignment at Misawa AFB in Japan.

An open house farewell celebration is planned for Saturday, June 18 from 1-4 p.m. at the home of Tami Johnston and Kris Olson, 12147 County 2 in Spring Valley.

Travis is the son of William Wannarka and Tami Johnston, and the grandson of Wayne and Sandy Johnston, formally from Stewartville, and the late Elmer and Doris Wannarka from Fairmont.
